About this role

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer with 2-7 years of experience to join our core San Francisco engineering team and build the embedded component library that powers accounting for thousands of small businesses. You won't be building a website. You'll be building a publicly published React library on NPM that our customers embed directly into their platforms. This is a highly leveraged form of front-end engineering with unique challenges around customization, backwards compatibility, and internationalization. We're a 14-person team backed by $9.3M from Better Tomorrow Ventures and Emergence Capital, leading the charge to automate bookkeeping with AI in a $44 billion market.

What will you be doing?

Building and maintaining a React component library published on NPM that embeds into vertical SaaS platforms and neobanks

Solving unique front-end challenges including styling customization (branding, colors, fonts), componentization, backwards compatibility, and internationalization

Owning projects end-to-end in an early-stage startup environment with high autonomy

Collaborating closely with a small, high-performing engineering team (8 engineers in SF) to ship features that directly impact small business owners
