About this role
Job Purpose
The position will provide support to sales to promote the existing products.
- The job holder will work as technical expert and develop new formulations for additive packages, especially hydraulic oil, gear oil or compressor oil packages.
- Moreover the person will be responsible for new raw material screening for the existing products.
- The candidate is expected to work in a laboratory following safety protocols and utilizing project management tools.
- The candidate is expected to work on multiple projects and provide regular technical reports, both written and oral.
Job Highlights
- Provide technical support and solution delivery for distributors and customers. Provide technical trains, webinars and seminars for customers, sales and distributors.
- Manage product service portfolio and related service offering & documents.
- Development of new products and solutions or modifications of existing products to meet customers' requirements
- Provide technical support in the field of hydraulic and industrial gear oil applications including formulation work.
- Provide guideline formulations and generating physical and chemical laboratory data.
- Conduct performance testing of the hydraulic and industrial gear oil formulations.
- Accurately collect, organize and present data in notebooks, on computers, and in technical reports.
- Support qualification of new and alternative raw materials for exiting products to increase quality and make the product more competitive on the market.
- Moreover defining a second alternative supplier to reduce supply risk.
- Comply with all safety regulations and ISO quality and environmental standards in alignment with laboratory manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, or other equivalent technical area.
- About 510 years of professional experience in laboratory or technical application in lubricant additives business.
- Solid knowledge in chemical and mechanical testing
- Experience in formulation design of industrial lubricants, hydraulic oils, gear oils, etc, or in additive application development for related products.
- Good creativity and solution orientation, and communication skill
