The role you’ll play
As a Vendor Management Trainee, your key responsibility is to support the overall operational and tactical matters related to LanguageWire’s network of suppliers.
Your prime objective is to maximize profitability by taking advantage of our technology capabilities in AI/MT-tools and fully collaborative platform model, to make our supplier network price competitive and efficient.
You will personally support the implementation of the transformation work of our freelance language experts, proving that extended use of our technology brings benefit and additional value to both our customers and suppliers.
The Vendor Management team is a powerful contributor to LanguageWire objectives and our customers’ satisfaction by working closely with other internal teams, especially Operations and Commercial, to ensure our supplier pool is engaged and meeting our customer needs and expectations.
You will also represent LanguageWire to our suppliers through recruitment, interactions, communications, onboarding and training of our suppliers.
You will monitor the service and the quality performance of all our vendors, ensuring compliance with ISO-quality requirements.
You will expand our network of suppliers representing new content service areas or specific capabilities, to assist our product team to deliver new commercial solutions, to contribute to prospective deals, to assist our operational team with specific resource challenges, and to support LanguageWire objectives.

The team you’ll be a part of
The Vendor Management team is an international team with people located in our Valencia, Lille, and Aarhus offices.
We act as the facilitators of supplier expertise within the company and contribute to reaching LanguageWire objectives, using a data-driven approach where collaboration and continuous improvement are a part of everyday work.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain vendor database to increase reliability of data
- Communication with vendors and internal stakeholders to support in resolving issues or challenges
- Supporting vendor recruitment and onboarding
- Creation and maintenance of vendor-facing documents
- Review vendor evaluations and vendor performance
- Create and send vendor communications
- Compile and analyze data
- Help translate data into clear insights the team can act on
- Support in team reporting
- Contribute ideas that make our vendor management team more effective
- Anchoring LanguageWire technology and services with our vendor pool
- Building vendor engagement
