About the Role

The Agronomy Procurement Coordinator ensures accurate product and inventory processes across Landus locations. The role supports the procurement team by managing inventory position and cost control while also supporting the accounting team with accurate reporting and ERP System management. This is an office-based position that may include visits to locations to support teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service to Landus customers and suppliers.

What will you do?

Agronomy Procurement & Accounting Oversight

  • Manage Inventory Sku’s: Product setup, manufacturer changes, product classifications and blend setup
  • Collect data and manage inventory position reports on a daily basis
  • Enter purchase orders and ensure correct costing
  • Manage product pricing and uploads on a monthly basis
  • Support the procurement team with data analysis and reporting to manage inventory and purchasing decisions
  • Manage GPOS reporting on a monthly and yearly basis
  • Support the accounting team with month-end procedures, financial reports and invoicing
  • Oversee seed bookings and accurate ordering with vendors
  • Oversee storage agreements by tracking monthly and yearly invoicing and reconciling inventory

Training & Support

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Agvance product, inventory, & agronomy workflows
  • Support Account Coordinators, Billing Specialists, and other team members on:
  • Agronomy invoicing best practices, Inventory control and reconciliation
  • Sales contracts and prepay accounts
  • Assist with onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing employees
  • Participate in system testing, enhancements, and rollouts related to agronomy systems
  • Collaboration & Customer Experience
  • Collaborate with sales, agronomy, accounting, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of services
  • Direct support and collaboration with Agronomy Leadership Team

Knowledge & Skills

  • AgVance or Agris experience as related to location operations and functionality
  • Strong knowledge of agronomy invoicing, inventory, sales contracts, and prepay accounts processes
  • Ability to support, train, coach and mentor while ensuring desired results are achieved
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal ag environment

Requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, Logistics, or a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in an office environment with occasional travel to Landus or supplier facilities.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
