LSP Buyer

The LSP Buyer is responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of qualified Lam Service Provider (LSP) resources to support business operations across equipment installation, warranty, and service activities. This role serves as the primary interface between Lam and external service providers, aligning workforce capability and capacity with dynamic business requirements while maintaining competitiveness, quality, and operational excellence.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with Lam Service Providers (LSPs) to support installation, warranty, and field service operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, labor regulations (subcontracting and labor dispatch regulations), and safety standards associated with outsourced workforce arrangements.
  • Ensure the right workforce capacity and capability are available to meet business demand, customer commitments, and project requirements while minimizing operational risk and service disruption.
  • Own the end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, tracking, and quarterly bridge analysis of LSP-related spending. Provide clear visibility at every QxR into spending variances, key cost drivers, and performance trends through robust financial governance and reporting.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with LSP partners to achieve competitive pricing, favorable contract terms, and sustainable cost structures.
  • Monitor supplier performance through key metrics, including resource availability, productivity, quality, safety, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations and Finance teams to align workforce strategies with business objectives.

Who we’re looking for

  • Experience in supplier management, procurement, workforce management, sourcing, or operations planning.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex business requirements and commercial discussions.
  • Experience working in semiconductor, technology, engineering, manufacturing, or service-related industries is preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication skills in both Korean and English.
  • MBA preferred

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
