INVENTORY AUDITING | SMALL PORTIONS, PRE-DETERMINED SCHEDULE

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Under the direct supervision of the Inventory Supervisor, this position is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory.

Pay: $15 - $17/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

Monday - Thursday 4pm - 2am

A Typical Day (job functions) | Count + Count Some More + Keep Counting

  • Assign daily work flow to cycle counting group to maintain daily work flow
  • Coordinate training for cycle counting grouping
  • Reports errors/issues to Inventory Supervisor
  • Maintain team goals
  • Works actively with others in the department and company to achieve positive results
  • Ensure team members are appropriately trained in the areas of job responsibility, safety, and company policy
  • Motivate all team members to achieve personal and department success

Additional Duties (on an as-needed basis)

  • Cycle count garments on a daily basis
  • Utilize software to process cycle counts
  • Ensure materials are in proper locations; conduct search in order to locate misclassified inventory
  • Open boxes to count items to determine quantity on hand
  • Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged garments to inventory supervisor
  • Communicate and develop process enhancement as needed
  • Pulls orders of garments for production teams, on an as-needed basis
  • Verify correct garment, color and sizes pulled by weighing/counting garments.
  • Maintains aisles: clear, cleaned and organized racks
  • Follows the 6S: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain and Safety
  • Other duties as assigned including special projects

Skills (qualifications) | Efficient Counting + Organization + Repetition

  • Ability to assess needs and prioritize
  • Train the Trainer Program and LEAD workshop completion preferred but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and coach co-workers
  • High school diploma preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team
  • Accuracy is required and ability to count efficiently required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced working environment
  • Must be self-directed & self-motivated
  • Knowledge of MS Office products: Excel, Word, etc.; must be able to pick up new software skills quickly
  • Ability to be on your feet 8-10 hrs/day

Physical Demands:

CONTINUOUSLY: Sit, Reach, Lift under 10 lbs., Carry under 10 lbs., Reach at and below shoulder height.

FREQUENTLY: Lift, Carry, Pull, Bend, Twist, Lift 10-50 lbs., Carry 10 - 50 lbs., Reach above shoulder height.

OCCASIONALLY: Stand, Walk, Push, Lift over 50 lbs., Carry over 50 lbs.

NEVER: Climb, Balance, Crawl
