THE OPPORTUNITY

Working with customers and a talented art team makes us happy. At Lakeshirts, Production Artists help transform creative concepts into production-ready apparel and accessories across screenprint, embroidery, appliqué, heat press, foil, acid gel, softwash, sublimation, and other decoration methods.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Production Artist - Screenprint Floor Support to help keep artwork production-ready, support the screenprint floor, troubleshoot art-related issues, maintain quality standards, and help artwork move efficiently from concept to production.

This is an onsite position in Little Falls, Minnesota. Remote work is not available for this role.

PAY + SCHEDULE

Location: Little Falls, MN (Onsite)

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

Pay: $18.00/hour

Growth: Build hands-on production art experience while working closely with artists, leads, and screenprint production teams.

A TYPICAL DAY

  • Complete Production-requested art fixes, including; design concept, spelling, color, and print-quality.
  • Using Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop for design needs.
  • Coordinate daily priorities with leadership, including screen sending, design changes for text & color, create production-ready files, and visual concept artwork to display for customers.
  • Partner with Production to resolve floor issues and ensure high-quality customer products.
  • Record design errors and inconsistencies.
  • Support lean practices by reducing waste in daily work.
  • Communicate standards questions or inconsistencies to your Lead.
  • Manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.

SKILLS

  • Graphic Design degree preferred; strong Adobe proficiency required.
  • Comfortable with computers, digital art files, and workflow systems.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
  • Clear communicator who works well with Artists and Production.
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to make sound decisions independently.
  • Eager to support screenprint production and improve standards.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Friendly and welcoming.

NEVER: Lift over 50 pounds or carry over 50 pounds.

Our production floor includes 48 automatic screenprint presses, 32 multi-head embroidery machines, six 60-foot laser appliqué bridges, three sublimation presses, and a number of dogs running around the place.
