We are currently looking for a 2nd Shift Parts Prepper to join the paint department at our Roseville, MN location.

 

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect metal parts for previous damage.
  • Visually inspect parts and paperwork to ensure prior steps are complete.
  • Clean, mask, plug, and fixture components prior to paint and powder coat application.
  • Work with others to prep parts properly.
  • Maintain equipment and keep the work area in order.
  • Operate batch ovens according to work order specifications.
  • Inspect parts after the coating is complete.
  • Unmask, unplug, and package components as needed.
  • Complete all paperwork accordingly.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a paint shop is a plus.
  • Perform basic math calculations.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Possess strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to use hands to position parts in place.
  • Bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces onto pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing.
  • Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
