About this role

Our client is an international legal and consulting group with offices in Dubai, Moscow and Hong Kong and a team of more than 80 professionals.

The firm provides a full range of legal services, as well as corporate services, banking and finance advisory, and private client consulting in Dubai and Hong Kong.

The team includes professionals with experience at leading international law firms, including Cleary Gottlieb, Akin Gump, A&O Shearman, Clifford Chance, Freshfields, DLA Piper, Dechert, Linklaters and Debevoise & Plimpton.

The firm is consistently recognised by leading legal rankings and industry publications and has received recognition for its work in the UAE legal services market, corporate law and private client advisory. It is also among a select group of firms with a strong cross-border presence across the Middle East, Europe and Asia.

Responsibilities:
  • Advise on and support M&A transactions, including drafting and reviewing transaction documentation, participating in negotiations, and coordinating signing and closing processes;
  • Advise on corporate restructurings, ownership reorganisations and redomiciliation procedures;
  • Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence;
  • Advise clients on corporate law, sanctions and regulatory matters;
  • Prepare legal memoranda, opinions and other analytical materials;
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams on complex cross-border corporate matters.


    • Requirements

  • Completed higher legal education, ideally including both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees;
  • Graduates of leading law schools such as Moscow State University, MGIMO, Kutafin Moscow State Law University, HSE University, Russian School of Private Law or St Petersburg State University are particularly welcome;
  • 3+ years of experience in legal consulting / private practice;
  • Practical experience supporting M&A transactions;
  • English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or above;
  • Strong legal drafting and analytical skills;
  • Excellent organisational skills, proactive approach and attention to detail;
  • Ability and motivation to work on complex and non-standard legal matters.
