LACO Technologies is looking for an entry-level Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our Production Assembly team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has mechanical aptitude, and wants to build a long-term career in advanced manufacturing.

You'll help build custom vacuum and leak testing systems used by leading organizations in aerospace, medical, automotive, and advanced technology industries. No direct assembly experience is required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow.

Requirements

  

What You'll Do

  • Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools
  • Follow work instructions and assembly drawings
  • Maintain quality and safety standards
  • Work with team members to complete customer projects
  • Keep work areas clean and organized

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred but not Required:

  • Manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, automotive, military, construction, or other hands-on experience
  • Trade school or technical training

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour
  • Flexible work schedule with participation in our 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off)
