Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Operations team, the Senior Manufacturing Technician is responsible for ensuring balloon manufacturing and catheter device assembly is conducted efficiently and safely in accordance with Company QMS. The role serves as SME for manufacturing equipment operation, responsible for setup, maintenance/spare parts, on-going support and process optimization.
About the Role:
  • Technical expert/SME on all aspects of balloon catheter manufacturing.
  • Ability to setup and operate all related equipment, troubleshoot issues or product defects to resolve in timely fashion to limit production downtime.
  • Responsible for the startup and shut down of manufacturing lines and ensures production lines run in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Complete and file accurate and completed production & maintenance quality records.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintenance of related instruments (including standardizing, cleaning, and calibration).
  • Ability to draft or execute related documentation, including manufacturing procedures, equipment qualifications, SOPs, etc.
  • Maintenance of workspace (including 5S, general housekeeping of personal and shared work areas).
  • May assist with maintenance tasks and participate in health and safety activities as needed.
  • Help to train other technicians, manufacturing operators, or engineering staff on equipment operations and processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 4-6 years cleanroom experience building balloon catheters
  • Experience with PTCA type ballon (e.g. nylon/polyamide) blowing and catheter manufacturing
  • Strong computer skills, experience with ERP (SAP) and MS Office required
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to multiple skill levels - operators, technicians, engineers, and management
  • Must be able to life up to 50lbs
