Who We’re Looking For:

As a key member of the Supply Chain team, the Senior Buyer is responsible for executing purchasing and material planning activities to ensure the timely availability of materials and services required to support business operations. This role analyzes MRP requirements, manages supplier order execution, and develops supply plans to support production schedules, inventory objectives, and customer demand. The Buyer works closely with Demand Planning, Production Planning, Operations, Quality, Logistics, and suppliers to maintain continuity of supply, manage inventory levels, resolve routine supply issues, and ensure accurate purchasing transactions.

About the Role:

  • Create, maintain, and manage purchase orders, stock transfer orders, supplier order confirmations, and other procurement transactions to support production requirements and inventory objectives
  • · Analyze MRP signals, demand forecasts, inventory levels, supplier lead times, and material requirements to develop and execute supply plans that ensure material availability while minimizing stock-outs and excess inventory
  • · Collaborate with Demand Planning, Production Planning, Operations, and Manufacturing teams to align material supply with production schedules, inventory targets, and business priorities
  • · Monitor supplier commitments, delivery schedules, and material availability, expediting orders and coordinating recovery plans as necessary to prevent supply disruptions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field
  • Minium of 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Manufacturing Operations, or a related function
  • Working knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain principles
  • Experience using ERP and MRP systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or related professional certification
  • Medical device, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing experience, including experience working within an ISO 13485 environment
  • Experience supporting inventory management and material planning activities
