Production Painter
About this role
Electro Industries based in Monticello, Minnesota is seeking an experienced Production Painter to operate and setup the paint area to accomplish scheduled assignments by safely painting high-quality products that are error free as efficiently as possible. Hours are 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Responsibilities:
- Paint a significant volume of work efficiently meeting Work Order standards
- Paints surfaces with spray or powder gun
- Regulates temperature and timing of bake oven
- Removes articles from drying racks when dry and appropriately stacks them on pallets if required.
- Monitor other painters so workmanship and quality levels are maintained
- Monitor and communicate consumable material needs
- Work is consistently accurate, thorough, and neat
- Operate equipment at a safe high level to perform daily assignments efficiently
- Operate tools needed to perform tasks at hand
- Read and follow prints with minimal supervision
- Understand decimal conversion for time keeping and material accuracy
- Excels at painting skills to maximize equipment and processes
- Responsible for knowing and keeping painting equipment safety procedures
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in Manufacturing
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Highly dependable
