Job Description:


The Janitorial Service Technician, under general supervision, performs a variety of cleaning operations both inside and outside the facility. Responsibilities include stocking restrooms, disposing of waste, and maintaining flooring.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Responsible for the quality of own work

  • Proper care and use of tools

  • Sweep and mop office and production area floors

  • Clean, disinfect, and stock restrooms

  • Ability to obtain a US Security clearance

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience. 

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Ability to inventory janitorial supplies

  • Ability to order supplies and maintain inventory

  • Able to perform tasks from work orders and verbal instructions

  • Proficient with floorcare machines, including manual and walk‑behind equipment

  • Familiar with various cleaning and polishing chemicals

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills

  • Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulation
