We're looking for a Talent Partner to join our Tokyo team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of end-to-end recruitment experience who is ready to take greater ownership of their roles and develop their career within an international Talent team.

You'll manage recruitment across a variety of roles in Japan, partnering with hiring managers from initial role briefing through sourcing, interviews and offers. You'll also have plenty of opportunity to learn from experienced Talent Partners across APAC and globally, while developing your skills in proactive sourcing, stakeholder management and talent strategy.

What you’ll own 🚀:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for a range of roles across Japan, from sourcing and screening through to interviews and offers

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and keep recruitment processes moving

  • Proactively source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, BizReach, referrals, events, and other channels

  • Conduct initial screening calls and assess candidates against role requirements

  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and upcoming roles

  • Coordinate interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process

  • Support candidates through the offer process and help manage questions and expectations

  • Keep candidate and hiring information accurate and up to date in our recruitment systems

  • Share market insights and candidate feedback with hiring managers and the wider Talent team

  • Support Talent projects, sourcing initiatives, and employer branding activities where needed

  • Work closely with the wider APAC and global Talent team to support hiring priorities

🧠 What you’ll bring to the party:

  • 1-2+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience, either agency-side or in-house.

  • Experience recruiting in the Japanese market

  • Strong proactive sourcing skills and confidence engaging passive candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels

  • Comfortable managing multiple roles and candidate pipelines at the same time

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with candidates and hiring managers

  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of your roles while knowing when to ask for support

  • Interest in developing your skills in talent strategy, market intelligence, data, employer branding, and stakeholder management

  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, international environment where priorities can change

  • Familiarity with ATS and sourcing tools such as Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, BizReach, or similar platforms is a plus

  • Fluency in Japanese and business-level English
