About this role
The Role
We are seeking a Cloud & DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Cloud migration, and DevSecOps automation. The role involves leading the migration or build of applications, data, and infrastructure from on-premises environments to Azure, designing secure and scalable cloud solutions, and implementing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Working closely with operational, and technical stakeholders, you will drive cloud transformation initiatives while ensuring security, compliance, and adherence to healthcare information governance standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
Cloud Assessment & Planning: Analyze on-premises applications, infrastructure, and dependencies to define Azure migration strategies, target architectures, and transformation roadmaps
Azure Architecture & Engineering: Design and implement secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available Azure landing zones, cloud platforms, and enterprise workloads.
Migration Delivery: Lead application, data, and infrastructure build and migration activities using Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, and Azure-native migration services.
DevOps & Automation: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and automated deployment frameworks to accelerate cloud adoption and operational efficiency.
DevSecOps Engineering: Embed security throughout the software development lifecycle by implementing secure CI/CD pipelines, automated security testing, vulnerability management, secrets management, policy-as-code, and compliance controls.
Cloud Security Engineering: Design and implement cloud security controls across Azure environments, including network security, workload protection, encryption, monitoring, threat detection, and security posture management
Identity & Access Security: Implement and manage Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), privileged access management, role-based access control (RBAC), conditional access, identity governance, and Zero Trust security principles.
Platform Security: Develop and maintain secure cloud platforms by establishing security baselines, governance frameworks, compliance controls, logging, monitoring, and operational security standards.
AI Security: Support the secure adoption of AI and Generative AI solutions by implementing data protection controls, AI governance, model security, responsible AI practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational security policies, information governance standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Optimization & Modernization: Identify opportunities to modernize applications, improve performance, enhance resilience, strengthen security, and optimize cloud costs.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering and security teams, promoting Azure, DevOps, DevSecOps, and cloud security best practices

- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire teams and develop excellent client relationships
- Previous experience in consulting and working on complex solutions to business executives
- Embraces a growth mindset for business development, with an ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication (written and oral) skills capable of discussing complex ideas with various groups, ranging from a board room to business unit leads.
- Good team player with strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
