Industrial Labourer - Full-Time Permanent

Kleysen has been a transportation solution provider for over 90 years. Our Esterhazy Salt Plant is looking to hire an experienced Labourer on a permanent, full-time basis. We are located on K1 Mosaic Mine site and therefore you will require your own transportation to and from work.  

Shifts include rotating days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) and afternoons (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) Monday - Friday. 

Shifts are 8 hours and include a paid lunch break. 

Duties & Training:

• On-the-job safety training for all materials handled & duties
• Training provided for operating various equipment (including but not limited to: loaders, rail king, telehandlers etc.)
• Caretaking (washing, moping/sweeping floors etc.)
• Filling in for loader/operators and other positions
• Assisting mechanics 
• Various Labourer duties (i.e. general clean up, maintenance, shoveling etc.)

Requirements:

• Strong work ethic and ability to attend shifts regularly and on time 
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Mechanical aptitude
• Good physical condition and able to work in all weather conditions
• Willingness to work overtime (double time rates will apply)
• Comfortable working at heights
• Safety 1^st approach 
• This is a safety sensitive position and therefore subject to our Drug and Alcohol testing requirements 
• Reliable transportation to work
