Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Pricing Specialist for our Columbus, Ohio location.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Kimball Midwest Sales Representatives with pricing new accounts, pricing large sales orders, and locking in prices.
  • Review the locked-in pricing of 10-15 accounts per day analyzing based on current pricing guidelines.
  • Communicate all price changes on accounts to the appropriate Sales Representative.
  • Provide superior customer service to Sales Representatives via phone and email (always operating within documented pricing guidelines and staying up to date as changes are made to pricing policies, processes, and procedures)
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the company's freight programs; considering the freight program of the account before providing pricing information to ensure complete accuracy.
  • Review price overrides/deviations within 45 minutes of arriving in order maintenance queue to ensure company standards as required.
  • Review new account/credit applications and apply required/requested price books to ensure all applications are submitted by end of business each day.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Kimball's pricing, including pricing strategy, Pricing maintenance/Pricing upkeep processes, promotional programs, and eligibility of those programs, etc.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the online pricing functionality, being able to troubleshoot pricing discrepancies when they arise.
  • Ability to operate in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to operate in Microsoft Dynamics AX and SQL Database effectively and efficiently, understanding for generating data analysis.
  • Familiarity with general pricing concepts and how to calculate percent discounts/adders from a given price point.

This role is on-site, Monday - Friday.
