About this role

Kïdo International Preschool is seeking a Bilingual Preschool Director in Training to support multiple Houston-area schools. This leadership development role is designed for experienced early childhood leaders who are ready to grow into leading their own preschool. You'll work alongside experienced Center Directors, provide leadership support across campuses, and receive mentorship from our Houston Regional Director.

What You’ll Do

  • Support Leadership: Step in to cover and support Center Directors, ensuring seamless school operations and building positive relationships with children, families, and the team at each location.
  • Collaborate: Partner closely with our Houston Center Directors as part of a peer leadership team.
  • Team Development: Train, mentor, and inspire teachers and leaders to deliver exceptional care and education.
  • Family Engagement: Build meaningful connections with families, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee compliance, health & safety, and licensing requirements.
  • Business & Enrollment: Support enrollment initiatives, marketing, and budget management.
  • Curriculum & Learning: Partner with our curriculum team to implement engaging, modern early childhood programs.
  • Future Leadership: Prepare for the opportunity to eventually take on your own school as a Director.

Is This the Role for You?

We’d love to speak with you if:

  • You are fluent in both Spanish and English (Required)
  • You have 2–4 years of experience as a Center Director in a licensed preschool (preferably 150–200+ children) (Required)
  • You hold a current Texas Director’s Credential (Required)
  • You have a CDA, associate’s, or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Preferred)
