Test Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead test manufacturing readiness activities for new product introductions from concept through volume production.
• Develop and manage integrated test project plans, ensuring alignment across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and external partners.
• Drive readiness reviews covering test production setup, materials, capacity, test infrastructure, systems, and resource requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to schedule, quality, materials, capacity, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor project execution, track critical milestones, and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
• Support capital equipment planning and facility requirements to meet future production demand.
• Lead issue resolution through structured problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with company quality systems, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor's degree in Elec/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, supply chain, or NPI program management.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional projects in a test manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of NPI processes, manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and production ramp-up.
• Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with global manufacturing sites and contract manufacturers is preferred.

• Software coding, test development experience
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making and risk management capability.
• Excellent problem-solving, conflict-resolution skills and able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Experience with high-tech, electronics, or test and measurement manufacturing environments.
