About the Job: Keysight Technologies is seeking a skilled FPGA Engineer to join our Wireless Test Solutions team. This role focuses on the design, development, simulation, integration, and validation of FPGA-based components within the wireless protocol stack. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, scalable solutions for wireless testing platforms.

 

About the Team: You'll be an integral part of our vibrant R&D team based in Beijing (China), collaborating closely with teams across the USA and worldwide. We seek a skilled, motivated FPGA engineer to spearhead FPGA development, driving technology innovation to propel Keysight's growth in the rapidly evolving test and measurement market.


Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and validate FPGA logic on mainstream and state of art FPGA modules for Keysight wireless solutions, including real-time processing such as signal generation/demodulation, channel encoding/decoding.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineers to integrate FPGA modules into the Keysight platforms.
  • Support, analyze and resolve internal and customer issues.
  • Support test automation and regression infrastructure to ensure FPGA builds meet quality and performance benchmarks.
  • Document FPGA design specifications, interface specifications, and release notes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with a focus on FPGA. 
  • Proficiency in FPGA design with expertise in SystemVerilog/VHDL/Verilog. 
  • Hands-on experience in FPGA validation, simulation(Questa Sim), and static timing analysis. 
  • Familiarity with Xilinx devices and Vivado toolchain. 
  • Strong understanding of digital signal processing, RF systems, and wireless communication protocols (3GPP series).
  • Familiar with Matlab.
  • Strong understanding of digital circuit design and schematics. 
  • Ability to multitask and solve complex problems across diverse areas while collaborating with multiple projects.  

Nice to Have Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in continuous integration and version control. 
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, TCL) for test and validation workflows.
  • Exposure to test and measurement equipment and applications, synchronization, and time-critical applications. 
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach. 
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ambitious goals. 
  • Strong team player.
