Responsibilities
Role Overview
- The Strategic Planning & Intelligence Program Manager is accountable for driving planning transformation initiatives that improve planning effectiveness, decision quality, and organizational productivity.
- This role is responsible for developing and operationalizing planning capabilities by connecting customer, market, competitive, and business insights with planning frameworks, processes, and AI-enabled productivity initiatives.
- The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Product Planning, R&D, Business Analytics, Business Engineering, AI teams, and leadership stakeholders to identify opportunities, establish roadmaps, and drive adoption of scalable planning capabilities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning Transformation & Enablement
- Drive initiatives that improve planning effectiveness, decision quality, and operational efficiency.
- Establish and evolve planning frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Partner with Product Planning teams to identify capability gaps and enable continuous improvement.
- Drive adoption of planning capabilities through stakeholder engagement and change management.
- Customer & Competitive Intelligence Enablement
- Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into planning actions and business outcomes.
- Enable adoption of customer, market, and competitive intelligence capabilities across Product Planning organizations.
- Improve how intelligence is consumed and applied to support planning and decision-making.
- Drive development and adoption of planning frameworks, market models, and business assumptions that support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Program & Portfolio Leadership
- Define and manage planning-related programs, roadmaps, and strategic initiatives.
- Establish milestones, success metrics, and business outcomes for assigned programs.
- Coordinate execution across Product Planning, R&D, Business Analytics, Business Engineering, and AI teams.
- Monitor program progress, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment.
- AI-Enabled Planning Productivity
- Identify opportunities to improve planning effectiveness through AI, analytics, and automation.
- Evaluate, prioritize, and drive implementation of AI-enabled planning capabilities.
- Contribute to future planning productivity roadmaps and transformation priorities.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment
- Build alignment across Product Planning, R&D, Operations, and leadership stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into actionable initiatives, programs, and delivery plans.
- Communicate strategy, progress, and outcomes to leadership and executive audiences.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, Economics, or related disciplines.
- 10+ years of experience in Program Management, Strategy, Business Analytics, Digital Transformation, or related fields.
- Proven experience leading complex cross-functional programs and transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with Product Planning, Portfolio Management, Business Strategy, or Operations Planning organizations.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and organizational change management skills.
- Exposure to analytics, AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including development of executive-ready materials.
