Client Delivery Lead
About this role
About Kernel
Agents are starting to sell, buy and operate on behalf of companies. But before an agent can close a deal, qualify an account, route a lead or assess risk, it has to answer a basic question: which company is this?
Today, that answer is messy, and no one answers it reliably. Business identity lives across CRMs, ERPs and third-party datasets full of duplicates, missing parent companies, stale addresses and incorrect enrichment. The cost shows up across the enterprise: sales teams miss revenue opportunities because they lack the right account context; operations teams take on avoidable exposure because risk signals are fragmented or wrong; and finance teams end up chasing, writing off, or defaulting on bad debt that should have been caught earlier.
Humans have worked around that mess for years. Agents cannot. They need a reliable business identity layer they can trust.
Kernel is building that layer: the business registry for agents. We issue a permanent KERN ID for every business, plus the context an agent needs to act on it. Ops, data and revenue teams at Gong, Legora, Mistral, Canva and Checkout already use Kernel on their own systems. Agents are next, and there will be far more of them.
We have raised $14M from top VCs and operators at Plaid, OpenAI, Slack and others, and we are growing 5x YoY.
Your Role
As a Client Delivery Lead, you're the bridge between customer needs and technical execution in enterprise deals. You translate complex requirements into practical, high-impact solutions, ensuring every proof of concept is accurate, scalable and positioned for success.
Working closely with Account Executives, Product and Engineering, you'll navigate technical questions, troubleshoot complex challenges and shape solutions that drive value for our clients. With new features shipping constantly at Kernel, you'll stay ahead of client requirements and the latest market innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Partnering with Account Executives in late-stage cycles as the technical expert
Running and delivering high quality POCs in a timely manner
Leading and owning the full implementation cycle from kick-off to go-live
Architecting, building, and deploying bespoke AI agents using Kernel’s tooling
Acting as a trusted advisor for your portfolio comprised of multiple clients
Provide feedback to the Product team to ensure constant improvement and iteration
What You Bring:
3–7 years of experience in a client-facing analytical or technical role, such as Solutions Engineering, Implementations, Technical Account Management or Consulting
Technical fluency (APIs, Javascript etc) and understanding of data systems
A product sensibility to how you work - you ask why before you ask when, and you push back on scope that doesn't serve the customer
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving technical challenges creatively
Experience working in fast-paced, startup environments
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects at once
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted customer relationships
Flexibility to occasionally work later hours to support US-based customers
Nice to have, but not required:
Experience working with AI products or use cases
Familiarity with RevOps workflows and systems, including CRMs and related tooling
⚠️ This role may not be for you if you:
Prefer a lot of structure or close guidance
Prefer routine over variety
Are looking for a purely internal, non-customer-facing role
❌ This role is definitely not for you if you:
Prefer fully remote work (this role requires 4+ days per week in the London office)
Don’t enjoy intense, fast paced workspace or ambiguity
Want to manage rather than build and deliver
