The Keppel Associate Programme is a 2-year programme comprising job rotations, on-the-job training and leadership development opportunities, from which you will build critical business and operation skills, gain commercial exposure and acquire a professional network to embark on a fulfilling and rewarding career with Keppel. This role sits within the Technical & Performance department in Keppel’s Infrastructure Division. Job Responsibilities: • Support the Power Station Manager to meet the contractual, technical, commercial set-up and contractual guarantee of the Power Station. • Liaise with the relevant Operations and Maintenance team for long term Station performance tracking, including part load and baseload performance – monitoring the whole performance of the Plant and the performance of identified equipment and systems not limited to Fuel Gas Compressors, Air filters, Boilers, Turbines, Condensers etc. • Prepare and update related monthly submissions for Higher Management and External Stakeholder/s. • Review past shutdown works and assist to consolidate works for subsequent shutdowns. • Review and implement practices, tools, and techniques for reliable and efficient Power Station operation and to fully utilize all plant's contractual energy, fuel, and utility supply agreements. • Monitor and review the technical and economic feasibility study of improvement projects for efficiency, reliability, sustainability, and safety. • Support to establish and maintain O&M policies and procedures to fulfil relevant standards and legal requirements for Energy Management System, Quality Management System, Carbon Pricing Act and Sustainability related reporting as applied to the Power Station. • Participate in all Health, Safety and Environmental practices/activities. • Participate in training and engagement of visitors, interns, new hires, and external staff. • Proactively study into new technology and support technical research, trials, and proof of concepts relevant to improving the Power Plant’s current and/or future operating regime. • Support in technical process reviews and contractual inputs for relevant projects under Keppel. • Comply with all company and legislative health requirements relevant to their duties and responsibilities. • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Power Station Manager Beyond the 2-year programme, you may look forward to enrolment into leadership programmes at Keppel should you meet the criteria. Job Requirements: • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical/Power System or Chemical/Process Engineering. • Degree/Diploma preferably cover power generation/thermodynamics.BUSINESS SEGMENT
