About this role

Key Accountabilities:

• Accountable for the development and implementation of training. This includes curriculum, lesson plans, training materials, and testing.
• Scheduling courses, training personnel, facilities, and equipment to train employees on light rail and streetcar operations service delivery.
• As mandated by federal, state, and local law and regulatory authorities, the Training Manager will maintain complete and accurate documentation of training and testing for each employee in accordance with Valley Metro policies and procedures.
• Support in leading a customer-oriented culture where all staff ‘Think Like a Passenger’.
• Adheres to all local and federal (FTA) regulations and in accordance with Keolis and Agency policies. • A minimum of 5 years prior direct, relevant experience in a passenger railroad, rail transit, or public transit operating environment.
• A minimum of 2 years conducting regulatory training in the rail industry.
• NIMS Certification is required.
• College degree preferred.
• Must be a resident of proposed business (or willing to relocate).

 

Skills, Knowledge, & Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years prior direct, relevant experience in a passenger railroad, rail transit, or public transit operating environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years conducting regulatory training in the rail industry.
  • NIMS Certification is required.
  • College degree preferred.

Must be a resident of proposed business (or willing to relocate).
