Responsibilities
Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
This critical role will be responsible for maintaining communication with the client’s site engineers on all project-related issues, and reviewing and implementing MEP contract drawings and building specifications.
We envisage success in this role to include:
- Leading and managing all electrical engineering activities under the Supervision scope of services.
- Overseeing electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection (mep components), and specialist systems relevant to infrastructure.
- Reviewing and managing electrical design submissions, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
- Coordinating closely with architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, and other teams to ensure fully integrated infrastructure systems.
- Managing and reviewing the performance of electrical design consultants and contractors.
- Liaising with local authorities, utility providers, and relevant stakeholders to support approvals and regulatory compliance.
- Monitoring technical quality, risks, and constructibility, with consideration for project conditions where applicable.
- Supporting construction activities by responding to technical queries, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with approved designs.
- Providing leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to electrical engineering teams.
Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 12 years of work experience partnered with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience gained from working on Infrastructure related projects in the UAE is being looked for.
