Responsibilities
Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Associate Landscape Architect to join our Allied Practice, InSite, based in Riyadh, KSA. This position is responsible for managing projects and directing the work of more junior landscape architects and the successful delivery of Landscape projects to high quality standards, in a timely and cost effective manner and in accordance with the Client’s expectations.
We envisage success in this role to include;
- Providing leadership and mentorship to staff.
- Managing projects through all aspects of the design process.
- Guiding the aesthetic and technical development of assigned projects.
- Taking responsibility for the financial performance of assigned projects.
- Leading, organising and directing teams of more junior staff in the execution of assigned projects.
- Coordinating with other internal disciplines and manages the activities of outside sub-consultants in the execution of assigned projects.
- Preparing technical and financial proposals for designated project opportunities.
- Performng other related tasks as directed.
- Demonstrating strong senior leadership potential.
- Demonstrating an expert understanding of the aesthetic, technical, resource, and financial components of landscape architecture.
- Demonstrating an expert understanding of production techniques, procedures, and standards.
- Possessing the ability to develop technical scopes of works, resource allocations, and financial fees for project opportunities.
- Possessing construction administration experience on landscape projects.
- Demonstrating an expert understanding of industry codes/standards/health and safety requirements and sustainability regulations.
- Demonstrating an expert understanding of the regional construction industry, local construction methods and their influence on design decisions.
- Demonstrating a team oriented and collaborative approach to Landscape Architecture within the design team.
- Performing other related tasks as directed.
Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15+ years of relevant experience partnered with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from an accredited University or College program.
Possess professional registration, licensure or chartership with an internationally recognized professional association.
