About the job: 

Kent is looking for a Program Manager, Trinidad & Guyana Operations for our Completions, Commissioning & Start-Up (CCS) business, reporting to the Vice President – Completions, Commissioning & Start-up – Americas. 

Skills and Responsibilities:  

Responsibilities:

  • Fully accountable for promoting Kent's Safety Culture.
  • Create a psychologically safe, inclusive and high-performing culture.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Trinidad & Guyana operations team.
  • Provide visible operational leadership and clear direction.
  • Develop succession capability and talent.

Strategy:

  • Implement the Americas CCS strategy within Trinidad & Guyana.
  • Support regional growth plans through operational readiness.
  • Drive standardized ways of working.

Business Development:

  • Support pursuits, proposals and client engagement.
  • Maintain executive operational relationships with key clients.
  • Partner with Business Development rather than owning sales strategy.

Operations Leadership:

  • Lead execution of all CCS projects across Trinidad & Guyana.
  • Own operational performance for safety, quality, schedule, cost and client satisfaction.
  • Manage resource planning, KPIs and operational reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Governance & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with the Kent Management System.
  • Maintain procurement and contracting discipline.
  • Work closely with Finance, HR, Legal and Supply Chain.
  • Support audits and maintain segregation of duties.
  • Ensure compliance with Anti-Bribery & Corruption requirements.

Execution:

  • Support successful project delivery from mobilization through close-out.
  • Identify operational and commercial risks early.
  • Ensure integrity of HSE, Quality, Progress and Financial reporting.
  • Champion digital tools, AI-enabled delivery and standardization.

 

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

 

 

 

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:   

Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 15+ years' experience in energy, EPC, commissioning or operations.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle execution.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated governance and stakeholder management capability.
 

Communication:

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
