Principal Technical Professional - Specialty engineeringResearches, designs, develops and analyzes specialty systems (such as Signaling and Imaging, Radio Frequency, Optical, etc.). Develops requirements analysis and system architecture and supports the development of complex systems. Performs analyses and prepares documentation in connection with specialty discipline. Analyzes, evaluates test and production data, prepares technical analysis, recommends engineering methods and processes required to meet design objectives on new or improved products and/or processes. Applies research of complex systems to achieve desired outcomes. Requires in-depth knowledge and experience. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective to identify and recommend solutions/best practices. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives. May advise multi-disciplinary teams or run projects. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in related field with at least 7 years of related experience; or requires an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
