About this role
Udon Shin is a Japanese udon specialist that started in Tokyo (in 2011). In November 2025, it opened its first international outlet – Singapore. The concept is all about craftsmanship and freshness: we follow a “Four Fresh” philosophy – Udon noodles are freshly kneaded, freshly cut, freshly boiled, and tempura is freshly fried. The kitchen is an open concept where diners can see their Udon being freshly made and cooked.
As the Service Crew, we rely on you to:
Greet customers, escort them to their tables and prepare tables for service efficiently to create a positive dining experience
Accurately take customer orders and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure accurate order fulfillment
Take reservations and respond promptly to customers inquires
Serve food and beverages promptly
Collect payment from customers and perform other cashiering duties if required
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and restaurant in line with SOPs and food hygiene/ safety regulations, such as adherence to SFA's standards
Follow Operational SOPs consistently to support smooth restaurant operations
Demonstrate sound knowledge of the restaurant menu and products to provide excellent service
Any other duties as assigned
We are looking for someone who has:
Previous work experience in food and beverage service to support effective customer interaction
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices to maintain a safe dining environment
Positive work attitude and enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service
Friendly and approachable demeanor to engage well with customers
Energetic, cheerful, and vibrant personality to contribute to a lively restaurant atmosphere
