About this role
This position is within Harrison Asset Management, a single-family office supporting the investment, corporate and philanthropic requirements of an Asian family based in Singapore.
We are looking for a reliable and organised Private Household Operations Intern to support the day-to-day coordination of the Principal's household. Working closely with the Principal's Personal Assistant, you will assist with household arrangements, coordinating of schedules, arranging meetings and appointments, purchases, errands and other ad-hoc logistical matters. This role is suited to someone who is practical, dependable, attentive to detail and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities may change from day to day.
The role also provides an opportunity to gain exposure to the professional standards, discretion and coordination involved in supporting a private household.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Personal Assistant with the day-to-day coordination of household and personal matters, including supporting domestic helpers with employment-related requirements such as work permits, medical check-ups and other documentation.
Monitor the well-being and safety of the children, attend to their immediate needs, and promptly report any concerns or incidents to the Principal or Personal Assistant.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, maintenance personnel and service providers for household repairs, servicing and projects.
Arrange and follow up on routine household maintenance and services, such as pest control, landscaping and lift servicing.
Conduct regular checks around the residence and report maintenance issues, safety concerns or other operational needs.
Maintain the residence's maintenance records and handbook, including service schedules, warranties and contractor information.
Assist with purchases, deliveries, collections, ad-hoc errands and other household arrangements, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism.

Key Requirements
Relevant educational background (e.g. Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience
Possess a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adaptable to changing needs
Reliable, responsible, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
A strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Able to commit a minimum period of 6 months (your employment may be renewed subject to a review of your performance)
