Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Facility Cleaner to keep the entranceways, parking lot, perimeter, and facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. The successful candidate will perform daily cleaning, inspections, and maintenance tasks while following operational procedures and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all facilities are clean, well-maintained, and free of debris

Conduct daily inspections to identify areas needing attention and act according to priority

Perform Vehicle Inspection Checklist and maintain equipment cleanliness

Clean spills and remove hazards; report issues to management when necessary

Sweep, vacuum, or blow litter, cigarette butts, sand, and debris from sidewalks, parking areas, and perimeter

Mop corridors, garbage, and recycling rooms

Empty, wipe, and clean exterior garbage and recycling containers

Clean operational signage and bins weekly or as needed

Sweep loading docks, entrances, and dumpster areas

Remove graffiti as required

Monitor full compactors, garbage, and recycling bins and report as needed

Clean office areas and washrooms

Weekly sweeping and dusting of mechanical and electrical rooms

Monthly checks of fire extinguishers and emergency lights in mechanical rooms

Purchase gasoline and diesel and maintain necessary documentation

Perform other reasonable requests from management

Qualifications:

Current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is an asset

Previous supervisory experience is an asset

Strong leadership and customer service skills

Some experience in commercial cleaning
