Job Description
- Support subcontracting and sourcing strategy for Waste to X Plants and Renewable Gas (if applicable), including market research analysis.
- Develop Local network and panel of suppliers and contractors for Construction Lots, Site Lots and Framework
- Agreements.
- Promote KVI as the Partner of Choice to Contractors and suppliers in the Branch region
- Participating in development and selection for a best source and contractor approval process (using internal e-database, SUMO or any other available).
- Preparation and follow-up of PEPP (Project Engineering Procurement Plan) for execution of subcontract.
- Support & preparation and issue of RFQ’s (Request for Quotations) for installation and site procurement lots,
- Analysis of received offers, review subcontract proposal evaluations,
- Performing costs and price analysis, developing negotiations strategies and support & leading negotiation of related project installation lots including site procurements lots.
- Preparation of commercial part of subcontract, including MoN (Minutes of Negotiations) and all necessary
- commercial clarifications.
- Direct commercial administration of site & installation lots including costs forecast and purchase orders follow-up.
- Cooperation with local C&C Tender Manager for market screening opportunities and subcontractors.
- Participate in developing related procedures & process improvements within overall function.
- Ensures effectiveness and efficiency through adherence to subcontracting process.
- Supports the department in achieving objectives including close cooperation with Construction ME tendering team.
- Support & deputies for Director M&E Tendering Subcontracting (MTCC) & PCM for contracting issues.
- Supports Startup and Live sites within the Branch region for local procurement and contracting or emergency orders
Qualifications
- Ideally technical education with the commercial and market experience (procurement, commercial department) from technical industry (power, industry, renewable gas & others)
- Technical education with proven commercial experience & education
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of Sourcing, Bidding and Category Management
- Knowledge of IFS, SAP (or any other ERP system) and MS-Office, eProcurement solutions
- Understanding of supply contract law (Swiss & Anglo Saxon), QA processes appropriate to Supply Markets
- Ideally multilingual with Good English, French language as an advantage
