Internal Auditor (all genders)
About this role
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the global Internal Audit function (internal audit processes, procedures, methodologies and tools) working closely with the Manager Internal Audit and Head of Internal Audit
- Complete the testing of SOX controls, including walkthrough, design testing and operational effectiveness assessment
- Identify controls and process deficiencies, process improvement opportunities and communicate them to business stakeholders
- Work together with Manager Internal Audit to plan and perform accounting, financial, regulatory, and operational internal audits
- Effectively communicate with process and control owners, including non-finance individuals, on the importance of controls, an effective control environment and the role of audit related improvements
- Contribute to special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
- 2-3 years of professional working experience in external or internal audit, finance, accounting or related fields
- Good knowledge of internal control requirements, accounting processes, audit practices
- Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) experience preferred
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, critical thinking, as well as the ability to identify problems and propose solutions
- Strong communication skills and extensive presentation experience to all hierarchical levels
- Professional language skills in oral and written English, knowledge of an additional European language advantageous (German, Italian, French)
- Willingness to go on national and international business trips, demand-related (approx. 15%)
