The Job
- Oversee daily cargo and terminal operations during your shift.
- Ensure safe, smooth, and efficient work processes according to SOPs
- Enforce safety, security, and traffic control measures.
- Respond to incidents and report promptly
- Process billing tasks such as DSA, manual payments, and gate passes.
- Conduct random checks to ensure proper lifting, billing, and dockage practices.
- Report and help prevent revenue loss.
- Assist with crane and equipment issues, coordinate with technical teams.
- Provide on-the-job training and support improvement projects when needed.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in port operations or a similar environment
- Comfortable using tech tools such as iPads and Microsoft Office applications
- Able to read and communicate effectively in English, and either Malay or Chinese
- Willing to work on an 8-hour rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays
- Able to adapt in a fluid and challenging environment
- Willing to accept cross-deployment within the main port and its terminals (e.g., Penjuru)
- Open to reshuffling of team or re-designation of duties as required
- Able to perform overtime duties when necessary
- Strong team player with good communication and problem-solving skills

With a combined storage capacity of almost three million cubic meter, JP is the largest independent oil storage terminal operator in Singapore. JPUT, in particular, supports approximately 30% of Singapore's annual bunkering volume, reinforcing the nation's position as the top bunkering hub in the world.
JP caters to regional and domestic markets across diverse industry supply chains which include construction, shipbuilding, offshore, transport, logistics, energy, and manufacturing industries. JP's local and overseas terminals handled a total of about 70 million tons of general and bulk cargo and more than half a million TEUs in 2022.
