Account Director (d/f/m)

Position

Jung von Matt HAMBURG is looking for an Account Director (d/f/m).

Your Task

• Leading and developing national and international client accounts on both a strategic and operational level.
• Acting as the client lead and trusted advisor across all ongoing projects, initiatives and partnerships.
• Overseeing integrated campaigns and ensuring alignment between strategy, creative, production, media and project management.
• Driving account growth through proactive consulting, identification of opportunities and development of new business initiatives.
• Managing client relationships, negotiations, workshops and presentations with confidence and authority.
• Overseeing budgets, forecasting, scopes, profitability and resource allocation across multiple projects and teams.
• Providing strategic guidance and operational oversight throughout all project phases and delivery processes.
• Supporting pitches, proposal development and agency growth initiatives.
• Contributing to the development and optimization of internal workflows, collaboration models and operational standards.
• Leading, mentoring and developing team members and interns.

About You

• You bring extensive experience leading integrated accounts within a creative, digital or communications agency.
• You possess a deep understanding of brands, business objectives, market dynamics and integrated communication.
• You understand how strategy, creative, production, media and project management work together to deliver impactful communication.
• You combine strategic thinking with strong operational excellence and entrepreneurial awareness.
• You confidently oversee budgets, forecasting, scopes, profitability and long-term account development.
• You are able to identify growth opportunities and translate them into actionable business and communication solutions.
• You are a confident communicator and presenter in client-facing situations, workshops and stakeholder environments.
• You are fluent in German and English.
