QC Photolithography Functional Technician 2
About this role
We're seeking a detail-oriented professional with 2–4 years of cleanroom and photolithography experience who is passionate about quality, process control, and continuous improvement. Experience with Statistical Quality Control (SQC), LIMS, and JMP statistical software is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- Night Shift: 9:30 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. (or specify actual schedule)
- Occasional overtime, weekend work, or schedule adjustments may be required to support business needs.
Education
- High School Diploma, Associate Degree (AA/AS), or Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in a related technical field
- 2–4 years of experience working in a semiconductor cleanroom environment.
- Hands-on experience operating photolithography equipment, metrology tools, and semiconductor processing equipment.
- Experience with photolithography processes, including wafer coating, exposure, development, and metrology.
- Working knowledge of ISO standards, Statistical Quality Control (SQC), Statistical Process Control (SPC), cleanroom protocols, and laboratory safety practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with LIMS and JMP statistical software is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and product quality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong safety-first mindset.
- Promote a safe working environment by identifying and reporting environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) concerns and participating in routine laboratory inspections.
- Perform production testing according to established procedures while meeting quality and production priorities.
- Apply quality control principles to support batch disposition decisions and monitor assigned equipment and instruments.
- Operate, maintain, and verify assigned photolithography and metrology equipment to ensure reliable performance.
- Organize and maintain test samples under proper storage conditions while supporting 5S workplace standards.
- Report equipment or process issues promptly with detailed documentation and assist in troubleshooting and equipment recovery.
- Review, update, and maintain standard operating procedures related to assigned equipment and testing methods.
- Support production activities and customer-related requests through routine laboratory assignments.
- Accurately enter test results and process data into LIMS, JMP, and other designated database systems.
- Assist with additional laboratory operations, including chemical inventory management, wafer transfers, and sample retention activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements and supporting FMEA and risk management activities.

Work Location:
This position is based in Sunnyvale, California. Candidates must currently reside within the local area, as relocation assistance is not available for this role.
