Global Investment Banking, IPO, Associate ( Hong Kong)

As an associate in Hong Kong IPO Team under Global Investment Banking, You will work with expert professionals at the heart of a leading global investment bank. Senior bankers will get to know you - both as a person and as a valued member of a winning team. You will use your related experience to contribute to the firm's IPO execution and capital raising capabilities while helping build J.P. Morgan's franchise and reputation in the marketplace. You will develop strong functional skills in the major areas of investment banking. Job Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on the IPO process, including regulatory requirements, market conditions, and strategic considerations.
- Conducting thorough due diligence on the company seeking to go public, including financial analysis, business model evaluation, and risk assessment.
- Preparing and reviewing necessary documentation for the IPO and other corporate finance transactions, such as the prospectus, financial statements, and regulatory filings.
- Assisting in the valuation of the company and determining the appropriate pricing for the IPO.
- Liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Managing the execution of the IPO, including coordinating with various stakeholders such as legal advisors, auditors, and underwriters.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, Law or other related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in an investment banking front office, or related role.
- Close attention to detail and ability to deliver output of a very high standard
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to deliver quality work under pressure
- Strong emphasis on good partnership, and a control-conscious team-working environment
- Demonstrate self-motivation and initiation, with a strong desire to learn the business and go the extra mile
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese. Proficiency in Mandarin is required and Cantonese is a plus.
- Strong analytical bend of mind and expert handling of MS Office suite products, Bloomberg and Factset etc..
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Awareness of investment banking solutions, regulatory backdrop, and services is a plus
- Execution experience in other equity capital markets products, including follow-on offerings, block trades, and/or convertible bonds.
- Strong partnership mindset and comfort operating in a control-focused environment.
- Professional qualifications is a plus e.g. CFA, CPA, FRM etc,.
