Asset Management - Business Transformation - Vice President

Business Transformation is a global team partnering with the Asset Management business lines to deliver high-impact change programs that shape the future of our business. Our work is driven by the priorities of the Asset Management Operating Committee and by anticipating and responding to significant industry and regulatory developments.
As Vice President in the APAC Business Transformation team, you will shape and drive the transformation agenda across the region. You will report to the Head of APAC Business Transformation. You will proactively assess opportunities and initiatives, and lead their delivery from concept through to business-as-usual transition. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong executive presence, and the ability to influence and collaborate across a complex, matrixed organization.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in strategic program delivery, business analysis, and operating model design, combined with a strong track record of building relationships at senior levels to drive meaningful business outcomes.
Job responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to secure alignment and sponsorship for transformation priorities.
- Take end-to-end ownership of complex, cross-functional programs, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
- Partner with business stakeholders to design and implement scalable operating models aligned to strategic business initiatives.
- Provide expert business analysis to support the delivery of client-driven, product, and regulatory initiatives, translating business requirements into operational models and technical specifications in partnership with Technology teams.
- Ensure robust governance frameworks are applied throughout the initiative lifecycle, including oversight of project documentation, risk and issue management, and post-implementation reviews.
- Identify, monitor, and escalate key risks and issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Work with operational partners to confirm readiness and obtain full stakeholder sign-off prior to go-live.
- Oversee business communications and change management activities, providing regular status reporting and socializing new operating models through compelling written updates and executive presentations.
- Champion the integration of AI, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance business outcomes and drive operational efficiency across the region.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in project management and asset management, with a demonstrable track record of delivering strategic change in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing relationships with third-party vendors.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging and influencing at senior levels.
- Advanced project management and business analysis capabilities, including project planning, solution design, requirements analysis, risk management, and governance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and translate it into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with high emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM) are highly desirable.
- Experience with project management tools and emerging technologies is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of the asset management industry, including regulatory landscape and emerging trends, is highly desirable.
