GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB:
 
The primary responsibilities of the Import/Export Analyst are to support all processes related to the import/export department, performing specifics tasks that will ensure all procedures will be in compliance with expectations. Provides help and assist in all the activities related to the department.

Ship and bill:  this is a process in AS400 that log out orders, and then the billing process of all shipped orders.  This is very important process to monitor OTD of all orders at SPI and for customers to receive the invoice on time.

Organize and file all documents from import export department.

Keep statistical information related to imported products and shipped orders.

Prepare DUA (shipper declaration at Customs) for all shipments

Prepare small package invoice and labeling.

Assist customer service and sales force with questions.

Serve as a backup of the import/export supervisor’s position.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS:  Note that (i) computer literacy and working-level skill with the basic MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer), (ii) good verbal and written communication skills, (iii) good interpersonal skills, and (iv) the ability to work well both individually and in a team environment are default requirements for all Jostens exempt and salaried nonexempt employees.
 
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business ADM, or related field. 
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel
 
Preferred:
  • Experience in import/export
  • CT-PAT, BASC certification
