General summary
The Department of Medical Psychology is seeking Neuropsychometrist to administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests to medical and psychiatric patients and research participants, under faculty supervision.
Specific duties & responsibilities
- Administers and scores psychological and neuropsychological tests to medical and psychiatric
- patients and research participants, under faculty supervision
- Assembles past medical and psychological records
- Prepares history of patients for incorporation into psychological reports
- Makes and records behavioral observations
- Participates in team meetings to present findings and recommend interventions
- Enters test scores into computer databases; maintains computerized records
- Orders and maintains supplies of assessment materials
- Assists with research protocols
- Performs miscellaneous clerical duties
Special knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Neuropsychological test administration and scoring
- Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data for assessment of patients and prepare reports
- Organized, precise, and detail-oriented
- Excellent social skills and clinical judgment
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of SPSS, Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of psychometrics and ability to perform basic statistical analyses
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in clinical psychology or related discipline
- Graduate coursework in psychological assessment
- Some experience in a patient setting, doing clinical work or clinical research
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of psychological testing experience
- Must be eligible for certification as a Psychology Associate in the State of Maryland

Starting Salary Range: $49,200 - $86,200 Annually ($65,000 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
