Location: Lolly Kitchen Affairs (Victoria Island, Lagos)


Job Summary:

The Account Officer will oversee financial operations for Lolly Kitchen’s fast-paced restaurant environment. This includes managing daily sales reconciliations, vendor payments, payroll support, and ensuring compliance with QSR-specific financial standards. The role ensures smooth cash flow and accurate reporting to support growth and efficiency.

? Key Responsibilities:
• Record and reconcile daily sales transactions from POS systems and cash registers.
• Track and manage inventory purchases and vendor invoices.
• Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure deposits are made daily.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management.
• Support payroll processing and staff expense claims.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and food industry accounting standards.
• Liaise with suppliers, banks, and auditors when required.

? Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Daily Sales Reconciliation: 100% of POS and cash reconciled by next business day.
• Vendor Payments: 95% of supplier invoices settled within agreed terms.
• Cash Handling Accuracy: 2% variance between reported and actual cash deposits.
• Reporting Timeliness: Weekly reports delivered within 3 days of week-end; monthly reports within 5 days of month-end.
• Inventory Cost Tracking: Maintain 5% variance between recorded and actual stock purchases.
• Compliance: Zero tax penalties or regulatory breaches.

Requirements


• HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel a
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho books, or similar)
