NED, LLC. is a large heavy equipment dealership with over 30 years of industry experience in equipment sales, rentals, and customer support.  Through mergers and acquisitions, NED, LLC. has grown through multiple acquisitions of independent heavy equipment dealerships, including Four Seasons Equipment, MAY-RHI, Earthmovers Construction Equipment, Richardson Service 1991, Inc., Grove River Machinery, and L & N Supply Company Inc.  Today the company is re-branded under one unified name, NED – National Equipment Dealers.

 

Work Schedule: Full timeMonday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Pay: $25 to $35/ Hour

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience preferred: major powertrain rebuilds, spec shop operations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, shop equipment, tools and supplies; ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

To be successful in this position you should have a mechanical aptitude, be organized, safely work with caustic materials, have basic computer skills, be able to read and follow service material instructions and quotes, and write clear and concise work orders. This position requires disassembly and assembly of major powertrain components, cleaning and inspecting components, evaluating re-usability of parts, and performing failure analysis based on failed parts, SOS reports, and machine operation.

  • Serve as the safety leader for the branch and promote a proactive safety culture
  • Disassemble and assemble major powertrain components
  • Clean and inspect components
  • Evaluate re-usability of component parts
  • Perform failure analysis using failed parts, SOS reports and machine operation
  • Read and follow service materials, instructions and quotes
  • Write clear and concise work orders
  • Identify safer, better ways to work on equipment
  • Complete EHS inspections and follow all safety policies
  • Assist with additional service department duties as assigned
