• The Nurse Supervisor at Ovation Communities is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role involves coordinating nursing activities, managing staff schedules, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff to ensure adherence to clinical standards and protocols.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams to meet the needs of patients.
• Monitor patient care processes and outcomes, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
• Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage to maintain optimal patient care.
• Conduct regular training sessions and professional development activities for nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, implementing necessary changes to policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in the recruitment and selection of nursing staff, ensuring a high level of competency and professionalism.
• Address patient and family concerns, providing solutions and support to enhance satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.QualificationsRequired Education:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience in a healthcare facility, preferably in a long-term care or assisted living environment.
• Proven track record of managing nursing staff and coordinating patient care.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide nursing staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with staff, patients, and families.
