About this role

The Robotic Welder is responsible for operating and maintaining robotic welding machines and

ensuring that welding processes meet required quality standards. This role involves setting up the

robotic welders, programming, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance. The

ideal candidate will have experience in welding processes and robotic systems, a strong attention

to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

 Operate robotic welding machines to perform welding tasks on various metal

components.

 Set up and configure robotic welding systems according to specifications.

 Monitor the welding process and ensure the quality and integrity of the welds.

 Program and troubleshoot robotic welders as needed to meet production requirements.

 Perform maintenance on welding robots, including cleaning, adjustments, and repairs.

 Inspect welded components to ensure they meet quality and engineering specifications.

 Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes and ensure on-

time delivery.

 Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment.

 Keep accurate records of welding operations and production output.

Qualifications:

 High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in welding or robotic

systems preferred.

 2+ years of experience in robotic welding or related manufacturing roles.

 Strong knowledge of robotic welding systems, MIG/TIG welding, and welding

techniques.

 Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

 Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

 Proficiency in programming robotic welders (e.g., FANUC, ABB, or similar).

 Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines.

 Basic computer skills for reporting and data entry.


Physical Requirements:

 Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

 Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various positions, including bending

and crouching.

 Exposure to loud environments and heat.
