Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating and overseeing quality control activities within the "dirty area" of the RPU Megaluh facility, ensuring compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and quality standards for incoming materials and preliminary processing stages.
Job Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain QC procedures and protocols specific to the dirty area, including receiving, sorting, washing, and initial processing of raw materials.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of the dirty area to ensure adherence to sanitation, hygiene, and quality standards.
Monitor and verify the quality of incoming raw materials, performing visual checks, basic tests, and documenting any deviations.
Oversee and train dirty area personnel on proper hygiene practices, sanitation procedures, and QC protocols.
Investigate and document any quality non-conformances or deviations found in the dirty area, initiating corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues in the dirty area.
Maintain accurate records of all QC activities, inspections, and corrective actions within the dirty area.
Assist in the development and implementation of HACCP or other food safety programs relevant to the dirty area.
Report regularly to the Quality Assurance Manager on the status of QC activities and any significant issues in the dirty area.
Ensure all equipment used in the dirty area is properly cleaned, calibrated, and maintained according to standards.
Job Qualifications**
Minimum of a Diploma in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Proven experience (2+ years) in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably within a food processing or agricultural environment.
Strong understanding of food safety principles (HACCP, GMP, SSOP) and hygiene standards.
Experience in conducting inspections, audits, and implementing corrective actions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and guide staff.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a challenging environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Proficiency in using basic laboratory equipment and record-keeping software.
