Job Summary

The Henhouse Operator (PS Bandar Masilam 3) is responsible for the daily care and management of poultry within the designated henhouse facility, ensuring optimal health, welfare, and productivity in line with company standards.

Job Responsibilities

Perform daily checks on poultry health, identifying and reporting any signs of illness, injury, or distress.
Monitor and maintain appropriate environmental conditions within the henhouse, including temperature, humidity, and ventilation.
Manage feed and water systems, ensuring consistent access to fresh supplies and reporting any malfunctions.
Collect and handle eggs according to established procedures, ensuring quality and minimizing damage.
Clean and sanitize henhouse facilities and equipment regularly to maintain biosecurity standards.
Record and maintain accurate data on flock performance, feed consumption, mortality, and egg production.
Assist with vaccination programs and other animal health treatments as directed.
Operate and maintain basic farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Adhere strictly to all biosecurity protocols and health and safety regulations.
Report any issues, concerns, or deviations from standard operating procedures to the supervisor promptly.

Job Qualifications**

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in poultry farming or animal husbandry is highly preferred.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
Understanding of basic animal welfare principles.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
Good communication skills.
Ability to operate basic farm equipment.

Melakukan pemeriksaan harian pada kesehatan unggas, mengidentifikasi dan melaporkan tanda-tanda penyakit, cedera, atau stres.
Memantau dan menjaga kondisi lingkungan yang tepat di dalam kandang, termasuk suhu, kelembapan, dan ventilasi.
Mengelola sistem pakan dan air, memastikan akses yang konsisten ke pasokan segar dan melaporkan kerusakan jika ada.
Mengumpulkan dan menangani telur sesuai prosedur yang telah ditetapkan, memastikan kualitas dan meminimalkan kerusakan.
Membersihkan dan mensterilkan fasilitas serta peralatan kandang secara rutin untuk menjaga standar biosekuriti.
Mencatat dan memelihara data akurat tentang performa ternak, konsumsi pakan, tingkat kematian, dan produksi telur.
Membantu program vaksinasi dan perawatan kesehatan hewan lainnya.
Mengoperasikan dan merawat mesin dan peralatan pertanian dasar dengan aman dan efisien.
Mematuhi dengan ketat semua protokol biosekuriti serta peraturan kesehatan dan keselamatan. Melaporkan setiap masalah, kekhawatiran, atau penyimpangan dari prosedur operasi standar kepada supervisor segera. Kualifikasi Pekerjaan
Lulusan SMA atau setara.
Pengalaman sebelumnya di peternakan unggas atau peternakan hewan sangat disarankan.
Mampu melakukan tugas fisik, termasuk mengangkat, membungkuk, dan berdiri dalam jangka waktu lama.
Keterampilan observasi yang baik dan perhatian terhadap detail. Mampu mengikuti instruksi dan bekerja secara mandiri maupun dalam tim.
Memahami prinsip kesejahteraan hewan dasar.
Bersedia bekerja dengan jam fleksibel, termasuk akhir pekan dan hari libur, sesuai kebutuhan. Mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik.
