Job Summary

The Henhouse Operator at PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk's PS Bandar Masilam 3 facility is responsible for the daily care and management of poultry within the henhouse, ensuring optimal environmental conditions and health to maximize productivity and welfare.

Job Responsibilities

Perform daily inspection of poultry for signs of illness, injury, or distress, and report findings to supervisors.
Monitor and adjust ventilation, temperature, and humidity within the henhouse to maintain optimal environmental conditions.
Ensure consistent and adequate supply of feed and water to all birds, and monitor consumption levels.
Collect and record egg production data, including quantity, quality, and abnormalities.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the henhouse, including routine cleaning of feeders, water lines, and bedding material.
Assist with vaccination programs and other animal health interventions as directed.
Operate and maintain henhouse equipment, such as feeding systems, ventilation fans, and egg collection systems.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Adhere to all company biosecurity protocols and animal welfare standards.
Complete daily logs and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Participate in training programs and contribute to a safe working environment.

Job Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in poultry farming or animal husbandry is highly preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
Basic understanding of animal welfare principles.
Good communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Melakukan pemeriksaan harian pada unggas untuk melihat tanda-tanda penyakit, cedera, atau stres, dan melaporkan temuan kepada supervisor.
Memantau dan menyesuaikan ventilasi, suhu, dan kelembapan dalam kandang untuk menjaga kondisi lingkungan yang optimal.
Memastikan pasokan pakan dan air yang konsisten dan cukup untuk semua unggas, serta memantau tingkat konsumsi.
Mengumpulkan dan mencatat data produksi telur, termasuk jumlah, kualitas, dan kelainan.
Menjaga kebersihan dan higienitas kandang, termasuk pembersihan rutin tempat pakan, saluran air, dan bahan alas.
Membantu program vaksinasi dan intervensi kesehatan hewan lainnya sesuai arahan.
Mengoperasikan dan merawat peralatan kandang, seperti tempat pakan
kipas ventilasi, dan sistem pengumpulan telur. Laporkan setiap kerusakan peralatan atau kebutuhan perawatan kepada personel yang tepat. Patuhi semua protokol biosekuriti perusahaan dan standar kesejahteraan hewan. Lengkapi log dan laporan harian secara akurat dan tepat waktu. Ikuti program pelatihan dan berkontribusi pada lingkungan kerja yang aman. Kualifikasi Pekerjaan
Minimal lulusan SMA atau setara.
Pengalaman sebelumnya di peternakan ayam atau pemeliharaan hewan sangat diutamakan. Mampu bekerja efektif dalam tim.
Perhatian dan kemampuan observasi yang kuat. Mampu melakukan tugas fisik yang berat, termasuk mengangkat dan membawa.
Bersedia bekerja dengan jam fleksibel, termasuk akhir pekan dan hari libur, sesuai kebutuhan operasional.
Pemahaman dasar tentang prinsip kesejahteraan hewan.
Keterampilan komunikasi yang baik.
