Job Summary:
The DOC OPR - HC PNGKLN LADA will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of day-old chick (DOC) production, ensuring efficient and high-quality output within the PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk facilities. This role involves managing personnel, optimizing processes, and maintaining strict adherence to biosecurity and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the entire DOC production process from egg setting to chick dispatch.
Ensure optimal hatchery performance, including incubation, hatching, and chick processing.
Implement and enforce stringent biosecurity protocols and hygiene standards within the hatchery.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to DOC production, identifying areas for improvement.
Lead, train, and motivate hatchery staff, fostering a productive and safe working environment.
Conduct regular quality control checks on eggs, chicks, and equipment.
Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory, and personnel activities.
Collaborate with other departments, such as veterinary and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in poultry production.
Job Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hatchery operations, preferably with DOC production.
Strong understanding of poultry physiology, incubation principles, and biosecurity measures.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in data analysis and report generation.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
