About this role

We aim at finding our Accommodation (Hotels / Rental houses) Product Manager.


You will focus to our 100+ partner hotels and to our 50+ short and mid-term rental traditional houses (link here), with the following responsibilities:

 

  1. Develop and manage the hotel & rental houses product portfolio across Japan.
  2. Negotiate hotel contracts, rates, allocations, and special offers with accommodation partners.
  3. Manage, motivate, and develop a team of 5 house operations staff, in Tokyo, Kyoto and Kanazawa, dedicated to rental houses.
  4. Ensure all properties meet our quality, cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, chains, and local suppliers (city hall, neighbors associations).
  6. Ensure that the most competitive rates, whether sourced through direct contracts or OTA channels, are accurately integrated and maintained within the company's internal systems.
  7. Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, sales, and marketing teams to ensure accurate product information, operational efficiency, and an excellent guest experience.
  8. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer demand, and pricing to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive product offering.
  9. Monitor key performance indicators including occupancy, guest feedback, budgets, and operational costs, and implement improvements where necessary.
  10. Participate in trade shows, supplier meetings, and destination visits.
